Jason Taylor humbled and hungry

Jason Taylor pulled down his helmet and jogged on the artificial turf with the second-team defense, just as expected. That was the full fanfare. And he lined up on the left side at outside linebacker, not on the right side where he was a six-time Dolphins Pro Bowl player.

Again: He's fine with that. He wouldn't be here if he wasn't.

"This is home," he said. "It's where my heart is."

But in many ways, this isn't so much a return home after a wayward year for Taylor as a return all the way to 1997 when he was a little-known, third-round pick from Akron.

"I've got to work," he said.

Once the coaching staff sees this guy work and how fast he practices, their gonna have a hard time keeping him off the field. He'll play a lot more than most people think.

After watching his interview up on aquavision, I can't help but think that Joe Rose is just a drama queen for blabbing like he did last Sunday on TV.

He seemed pretty contrite. I hope he stays healthy & does well this season.

Even though, there was a moment in that clip when he says that the Dolphin's are bigger than anyone in the building, and he isn't exactly smiling when he says that. :d-day:

Hopefully he'll eat Brady, Edwards, and Sanchez and still be hungry.

I think his vacation in washington was exactly what his ego needed. He sounds more grounded. Hopefully that will transulate into a productive OLB for us this season. If JT can adjust to being on the right side we could have a respectable pass rush this season. Hopefully him and Porter will compliment each other and sandwhich QB's pockets.

I expect 10 sacks, 2 interceptions and 3 forced fumbles from Jt this year, last year was the R n R express(Ronnie and Ricky) this year the J n J crunch (Joey and Jason),
should be a great season
