Sorry, dont have a link.

A radio station here in DC interviewed him and he said he is not worth the 8 million. He said he's a realist and he doesnt think he'll be brought back for the 8 mill. he also said he's been used wrong, which is true.

Just thought i'd share. Incase youre in the area, it was the junkies that did the interview and theyre still raving about how great of an interview it was and how much they sweat him now.

I literally think about the JT situation every day. Talk about unloading at the right time... That said, i agree that he is being used wrong. Every time i watch him, he's play DE. Did they not see him play OLB in Saban's system?!?!

he played at pro bowl level for years at DE. hes not being used wrong. hes being used at his natural position. he cant complain. he wanted to get traded to a winning team, and he pretty much had his choice of where to go, and he chose to go to a 4-3 team. means you play DE jason. if you wanted to stand up for a winning team, should of thought about staying here.

Cant wait for that pick.....should be in the low teens

So basically he says he wouldnt be surprised if Washington cuts him. He's more or less dropping a hint to them to go ahead and do so. Basically he WANTS cut. This guy is never satisfied with what he has. I hope he is forced to play for the faiders.

I hope he just retires. He really should have retired after last season. Football is no longer his passion, his future Hollywood career is what he is most interested in. It was a mistake to play this season with his mind elswhere and his stats and injuries prove that. He wasn't in football shape and he just doesn't seem to have that special burst he used to have. Actually, I thought it was even a bit missing during the 07' season.

Glad we got the picks though.

The pick is a second round pick, so it won't be in the teens. If the season ended today, it would be the 47th overall pick.

My bad...I meant low teens in 2nd round. I dont add the first round like you should.

I know. I sort of assumed he went to a 4-3 team because he wanted to go back to DE.

Im not sure he had as much of a choice as you seem to be implying. It is possible that the RedSkins discussed it over with him before making the trade, if Parcells allowed them too. Im not convinced of that though. I think it is more likely they signed a deal and called him up and told him pack your bags your playing for Washington now. At this point his choices would of been to either play as a Redskin or retire. I dont think he got to pick n choose which team he went to. I think that was one of the areas that him and Parcells were butting heads.

Regarding JT trying to persuade the Skins into cutting him by using media outlets as his voice. This sounds reminiscent of something out of daunte's playbook. Is it just me or does it seem like Jason Taylor is evolving into another Daunte Culpepper? I'm waiting to hear him announce that he has fired his agent next, or maybe he will shoot off a nice long email to the press about his bad season not being about his declining skills but more about the Redskins inept defensive schemes.

My appologies to those of you who are still fans of the guy, but he has turned himself into a joke in the NFL.
