Jason Taylor Interview

Whooo Bring on Farve for JT ! Both players prob have 2 more solid years but i dont want to start another Farve thread so ill shut up! :beer1:

What a self centered piece of crap. The NFL seriously needs to think about revoking his "Man of the Year" award.

I was Listening to a JT Interview on ESPN.com and during the Interview it sounds like he really doesnt want to be a dolphin so i think we need to trade him for what we can get if we can get a 2nd or 3rd round pick for him i think he needs to go

Thoughts on interview

Like most people in the media (and on this board) I think you are misinterpreting Jason Taylor. I hear a player that has worked his *** off and is tired of losing games and wants to end his career on some sort of a high note, not an a losing note. When is the last time the Dolphins have been in the playoffs?? Aren't you sick of being at the bottom for so long?? Quit taking eveything so personal. Jason Taylor is an Icon for this team, a proven leader, a former MVP and never misses a game. He could have easily packed it in like many other players do every year and quit going on the injured list or whatever, but he stuck it out and played hard even when it didn't matter.

Bottom line, quit being a hater and reading into too much BS that is published or misinterpret what is actually being said and realize that everything is not as it seems.

I watched and actually listened to the interview. I really don't see what there is about anything he said to be upset about. I thought he was very candid. I don't think he was or is being an a-hole by any stretch. I could be wrong, or maybe I misread his intent. But I didn't see a player who doesn't want to be with us this season.

Everyone know hes doesnt want to play for miami and hes trying to hide alot of his true feelings so he doesnt lose all his fans for miami.

Good interview but not really anything different than what he has been saying for a couple of months. I do like the fact that JT gave Joey Porter some props.

i thought it was decent interview... he came off like a decent guy to me... and it sounds like he does want to play in miami for one more year... and if we win some games maybe more...

I watched that interview, with ESPN's Ed Werder. I actually watched it more than once. It reminded me of a conversation with a teenager who knows what he's supposed to say but is obnoxious enough to say it in such a way as to flaunt what he really means.

"I didn't drink all your beer."
"I didn't drink all your beer."
"I didn't drink all your beer."

I don't believe him, don't trust him, and don't believe his interests and the Dolophins intersect.

But that's just me. I'm a cynic...

Less then two weeks and we will finally be able to advance this story instead of just guessing and wondering.

I really do hope that Jason just shows up for day one of Training Camp and that he will accept being a Dolphin this upcoming season. I really hope we don't have to deal with the drama of him holding out of camp for a trade or release. Please no more drama!

sorry but I think I got something different from that interview then some people on the board. It seems like Jason is looking forward to playing this year for whoever. It looks to me that he just wants to win. Not sure how people can look at that interview and say that he was self centered or anything of theat nature.

i dont like the phrase" i may have no choice to play for the dolphins," I dont need to hera that from a guy that is going to make seven million dollars this season, while most of the fans worry about four dollar gas and feeding thier kids, JT and the athletes like him need to come back to earth soon, I am glad Parcells treated him like a kid, because he is one.

JT has been a warrior and complete professional throughout his entire career here, which in included several different regime changes. I can 't be mad at him if he doesn't want to go through yet another rebuiling process....

this is what im getting from him. notice when he says I'm planning to play 1 more year, that he says thats the plan but that could change. i think that he will in fact be a dolphin this year, and if we have a respectable season then he will be back again next year if he feels we will be a contender next year just listen to what he says and look at how he has left the door open to play more than 1 year if the fins contend. he has made it a point to say that nothing is definate. i just think he wants to see how this year goes and then go from there, do you think im out of line by saying that?

Listen to the end of the interview and tell me that he want to be a fin next year
