no he doesnt. sabans doctors gave him bad info on brees. and they made a bad choice at qb. he took off, but prior to leaving he met with huizenga and told him he would stay and honor his commitment. wayne told him to follow his heart. he didnt get it done, but do u honestly think saban at the end of the day given the same team and the same time wouldnt do more with it than sparano? its not even close
We will never know.

i think if we drafted aaron rodgers and, say, had a coach like mccarthy of GB, i think neither would have succeeded. this town calls for the backup to play if we 0-2, and Rodgers is great bc he was given time to develop. Mccarthy was given time as well. Neither would have lasted that long in Miami bc this town is so quick to give up on regimes and/or qbs.

no rodgers is not great because he had time to develop. rodgers is great BECAUSE HE IS GREAT. its that simple. rodgers would have been great in miami as well. tom brady would have been great anywhere he went. its not the system or the time. thats all garbage. hes great because hes great. thats it. barry sanders would have been great no matter where he played.

why do u think they shoved brett out of town??? they knew theyd get crucified!! they knew! but unlike ******. they recognized they had a player. im sure they wondered if they should do it a year before they even did. but they would have been blasted by the fanbase if they had.

they knew. we cant figure those things out. how about we bring in wake and sit him for a year? even in passing situations? unreal

Tyalor is not a HOFer and those D's had loads of talent but always choked. is that on the coaching or the players? they choked under JJ and they choked under Wannstedt then they choked under coaches after those guys.

That defense was vastly overrated, they were great Sept-Nov but in dec/Jan? they always choked in big games.

We don't have a NE offense but we seem to win much mroe ften than not and win more than them in January. We have a good O, very good D and excellent STs.

If only the SB counts you guys never won one despite haveing a top 5 all time QB for so many years and great offenses most of that time.

You guys have choked twice in the afc championship game ...your window will close and the jets under Rex Ryan will be known for losing back to back aft championship games and nothing more :D

No surprise here, Tony Sparano sucks as a head coach.

Some of you people kill me. Sparano may not be Vince Lombardi, but now you guys are putting Cam Cameron ahead of him??? Do you all not remember what it was like to endure that 1-15 season? 7-9 is a LOT better than 1-15. Say what you want about Sparano and his .500ish record but lets drop the Cam Cameron was better ideology.

no but that just tells u how bad sparano is. when its all said and done tho wanny probably would have to end up below sparano because he absolutely destroyed a very good franchise. the guy simply couldnt add talent to an NFL roster. he had no business making personal moves. these guys are both so bad tho - its just hard to even talk about it.

i do give more blame to this franchises futility tho to wandstedt, and sparano wouldnt be judged as harshly. sparano just isnt the guy tho. so it doesnt matter how u view him. he just doesnt belong here as a head coach. he truly is in over his head. hes come along. but hes not good enough and never will be

dead on

I disagree w/ you there. he took over a team that lost 62-7 in the div rd and lost a HOF QB then led you to your first dic title in 6 years and a loss by "only" 27 points in the div rd. It's not like he inherited a SB team. I think he's on a level w/ Sparano though he won more.

ur WAY off dude. and wanny only won BECAUSE of the team he inherited. the guy was such a clown that even finheaven will universally agree how bad wandstedt was. AGAIN, perhaps maybe u just had to be there.

go look at our drafts under wandstedt. he couldnt find NFL talent. and to compound the problem they just did dumb ****. even the ricky williams trade they got fleeced on and thats one good move in theory they did make (still got that wrong)

the asking price for williams was a 1st and a 2nd rounder i believe. as the story goes, wanny didnt want to give up the 2nd rounder. so in his brilliance INSTEAD what they do is make it a conditional pick thats at least a 3rd rounder, but has the potential to become a first rounder (if he rushes for 1200 yards i believe) or a second rounder (1000 yards) AND they also gave up an additional 4th rounder to complete the trade.

so a 1st and 2nd rounder (asking price) somehow becomes TWO 1sts and a 4th for ricky williams

explain that one to me please.

if you are trading a 1st rounder for a guy you dont EXPECT hes going to be successful? you should EXPECT hes going to run for 1200 yards. and if u are going to hedge your bet by applying conditional picks, then you shouldnt end up best case scenario STILL giving up a 1st, 3rd, and 4th if he doesnt perform.

the dummy didnt even understand risk/reward

no were not going to put cam ahead of him. cam was even worse. no ability to maintain a locker room. at least sparano can keep them in line. at least they know who is in charge with sparano. doesnt make much difference tho when the guy in charge isnt good enough to get it done

Cam is as bad of a coach as Tony is, if not worse. Here's the difference, though. Cam came in with the reputation as an offensive guru, and nobody can argue that Cameron got the most production out of Ronnie Brown than any other coach. Ronnie actually looked like a complete, elite, NFL RB. Tony came in with the reputation of being a guru when it comes to the OL. Yet, outside of Jake Long and Mike Pouncey, the offensive line is a joke.
