What happens to JT if we sign Pace? do we keep him or try to get some draft pics for our beloved Jason Taylor?

If Pace is signed, look for Taylor to be shipped for draft picks. There's a thread on here reporting that the Packers might be willing to part with a 2nd and a 4th rounder for JT. Also, it states that Minnesota might be willing to give a 2nd and a 3rd for JT which I think is a hell of a trade for us.

I hope those rumors are true. I love JT, but I think we need to move on. Either one of those trades wouldn't be bad for JT either.

Yeah I agree. I think either of those trades are GREAT for us. They give us much needed draft picks and we are giving up a player who has been contemplating retirement for a couple years now. I think he will play one more year or possibly two but not with this team.

omg, we should change our logo, jerseys, name, and city because we arent going to have anyone here from the miami dolphins!

i would take either of those trades in a NEW YORK MINUTE, its time to MOVE ON.

I would miss Jason Taylor but those would be more draft picks and it would give Jason Taylor a chance to win a superbowl with Greenbay.

I am not sure we could afford to keep JT with all the guys we are signing....it is going to cost us a lot if we keep the overall # 1 pick. I would love to see JT here and retire as a Phin, but I think if we sign Pace we may have to move JT.

I think if those offers were true and BP was willing to get rid of JT than I think he would normally take the Vikings offer. But with respect to Jason Taylor, I believe he would take the Packers one because Packers have a shot at a title. Remember the Packers traded away Williams today. They could possibly be looking for a D end and it could possibly be our very own JT. I hope one of these is true at the least.

plus we dont have to play against..Im all for trading him,and I agree, send him to a team he can win a championship on.I just dont want to see him lined up against us,it would sadden me to see Taylor wearing someone elses jersey...

Yeah I would expect Parcells to send him to a team that can win a championship due to respect, kind of like he did with Zach. He outright released Zach because Zach wished for it and they felt that he deserved it which he did. The only issue I could see happening is if JT asks for an outright release, like Zach did, then it would have to be a tough decision for BP. But I think that JT would be willing to go to GB to be a teammate of Favre's.
