Kansas City #35 pick (2nd round) and #105 (4th round) for Jason Taylor. I would do that in a heartbeat.
Chiefs need to fill Jared Allens shoes, and this would work well for both teams. That #35 pick would be real nice. Would LOVE to get the #17 pick they just aquired from the Vikes, but can't see Carl Peterson doing that.

KC is trying to build for the future, they have no chance of winning now. I imagine if we did this Taylor would retire.

of all the trades I have seen so far involving him, if this one is true it seems the most realistic and I would be down with it.

I would do that trade, even though it really doesn't make sense for KC unless they think with their new picks they can make a run at the playoffs.

they have like 800 picks in this draft, they can afford to package a few. For what they got for allen, they could plug JT in with those picks, not lose production, and still come out ahead.

They're a dysfunctional team with an out-of-touch GM and boneheaded coach (hmmm, sounds all too familiar, eh?) going nowhere fast. From JT's perspective, I'd think a trade to KC would only make him start seriously considering becoming the next "The Rock" now instead of in 2 years since I've heard he's already receiving movie scripts. Gotta send him somewhere where there's potentially a bright light at the end of a short tunnel to keep him in the game I'm afraid.

He wants to go to a contender so KC is out.

How about the Cowboys? Reunite him with Zach and the cowboys have a nice defense if Pacman can stay away from the strip clubs.

i think a 2 and a 4 for JT is a better deal for us than the allen deal was for KC. still cant see anyone giving up that much - JT aint got much left - 1 year i personally think then he calls it a day

that is unrealistic. They are rebuilding with young players. A better idea for them is to simply draft vernon gholston or chris long one of whom will probably be there when they draft 5th. Its not a coincedence this deal happened once the fins signed jake long thus making it all but a cerainty that one of those two players would be there when they pick at 5.

Clueless.... Why would JT want to go to a club who's rebuilding more than us? Why would KC want a 34 yr old DE? Amazing thought process here.....

everyone here seems concerned if JT would want to go there.....better question, why would KC want JT? They are clearly rebuilding, so what sence would a 34 yr old DE make?

Not going to happen. They will be drafting their future DE. YOu can start with the possibility of Gholsten and C Long. Hello.

Exactly . . . more than likely Long or Gholston will slip . . . . everybody thinks they will reach for Albert or Clady? Gimme a break, they can get one of the top OT's more than likely at #17 (Albert, Clady, Williams, Otah).

They wont pass up DE now with Allen gone.

Now if for some strange reason the first 4 picks are:

Jake Long
Chris Long
Glen Dorsey
Vernon Gholston

Ryan and McFadden both slip out of the top 4 . . . it would be interesting to see what they would do. Probably get ALOT of trade offers and then slip down to get a OT (Wonder if Dallas calls them with the 22 and the 28 to get McFadden before the Jets). . . though Sedrick Ellis maybe the target for them on D. Gotta imagine they would LOVE to trade w/ New Orleans . . . possibly pick up another 2nd rounder . . . and then draft Albert at 10 (if available) and Otah at 17. That would be sick.

I could be wrong but i do believe Dallas runs a 3-4 just like we're trying to do. Which leaves Jason positionless in my opinion. And anyway Dallas's biggest needs are CB, WR, RB.
