Jason Taylor to skip Pro Bowl.

No one really likes going to the Pro Bowl any more. Basically its an honor to get voted in, but they dont like to actually go. I know he has a hurt foot, but I doubt he's heartbroken about not going.

Good, he doesn't deserve to go there any way.

wow..you might get some flack for that comment. He didn't have the stellar performance as he did last year when he won the DPY award, but saying he doesn't deserve to go is a might much.

Hes right. JT doesnt deserve to go. He wasnt consistent all season and hes got there by name and 2nd half of the season IMO.

jason still had a really good year we might not just look at it that way he had 11 sacks a few forced fum. and a pick 6

He was deemed to be "lazy" and not showing up in 1st half of the season. There are a few players worthy of the Pro-Bowl instead of Mr 99. He had great 2nd half of the season. But since when is the Voting applied to half a season?

Aarron Schnobel is the replacement. I wish it wasn't a Bill I hate the Bills.

i agree. he played like he wanted to be traded most of the season. i was disappointed with his performance. even watching him sometimes this season against some double teams it just seemed like there was no effort there. like he had just given up.

sure he did step it up a bit in the second half of the year, but that doesnt make him pro-bowl worthy.

and on a side note, im really sick of players backing out of all star games... you were voted there by the fans... and you get a trip to hawaii out of the deal... do the fans who got you there a favor, and SHOW UP. this goes for guys in all sports... not JT specifically

I don't think he pushed the pocket 1 time in the first half of the season. The only reason he got votes was because his name is Jason Taylor. This is just further proof that pro-bowl voting is the biggest joke in this league.

Have you seen the rules for the Defense in the Pro Bowl? Hardly worth showing up if you are a DE/LB IMO.

If I'm not mistaken (and I admittedly could be, because this is just hearsay) I'm not sure they "get" a trip to HawaiI, I think they have to pay for it. When I was watching a Seahawks game this year they were saying there were 3 of them worked it out where one of them would pay for the food, one would pay for the plane flights, and the other would pay for the hotels.

Not like they cant afford it though.
