Jason Taylor weighs in on Culpepper again

As long as he is on the team the players will show some support especially guys like Zach and Taylor who are the faces of the franchise right now.

I think the whole team is taken to a extreme sometimes.NFL is a business and both the owners and players know it so fans for some reason look too much into this .Its a high paying job where you have alot of days off.....sorry to bust the bubble.Players are employess at will of the FO[they can be fired when ever] .

satz

It's good to see his team-mates backing him, they seem to have faith in him and his ability, shame some of our fans can't do the same.

I think he made a big impression when he came in last year, I remember hearing reports of how he chewed out McMichael for slacking off at practice. Like it or not, I think Culpepper is one of the leaders in our locker room already.

The link isn't working for me can someone do a synopsis of the article.

The Palm Beach post blog has a transcript of the entire interview where Jason also say's "Daunte is my quarterback". I think it is time for the fans to get back on the DC8 bandwagon with the other team leaders.

Everyone will see at the next mini-camp the fruit of Daunte's labor. He will show that his hard work has paid off.

That's not true. Sometimes no comments can speak louder than comments. Neither of those two mentioned would say a word unless they were genuine

The guy's been in "labor' since he came to Miami last year but he's yet to deliver crap! Wait.... That's the only thing he's ever delivered while being here...

Those guys want to win, they know they may be stuck w/ Daunte nad it makes no sense at this time to say no comment. They are saying positive things trying to help him regain confidence.

As soon as Daunte does something (positive) for us, sure thing.

Absolutely correct.
Once he shows Cameron and Mueller that he is healthy and that he shows promise with his play in camp/preseason he'll get all the support needed IMO.
If he dosen't he won't and dosen't deserve it.

wow, what a crappy attitude.

that sounds like something my ex-wife would say.

crappy attitude?

Culpepper has a TON to prove.
The prove it to us attitude is completely justified here.
Nothing malicious about it.
He needs to show he can get healthy and if that happens that he can still be a good QB in this new system that puts a premium on quick decisions and reading defenses.
