the awards this year i think went to those that deserved it the most. we all knew all along that JT was gonna get it, but im estatic that my boy Zach got his recognition! lol where is the "our best players on defense are too old" arguments now people? come on ******s... lets hear it!

Probably not. I mean, why retire after your best year. Most players wait till they are a hurt after-thought THEN retire.
If he did, it would sure make beating you guys easier next year. :)

Why does anyone retire in the NFL? Probably a million reasons. I think he'll be be back, but my predictions are usually the opposite.
In that case, he ain't comin' back :tongue:

Way to go Jason Taylor on the AP Defensive Player of the Year award !!!
If anyone deserves a trophy case full of awards it Jason Taylor. He's a definite superstar who should be in the Hall of Fame someday. Dolphins fans have known he's "the man" for years. Now the rest of the fans in the NFL know it.
You guys should see him on the ESPN pregame show. Jason has a pretty good sense of humor. He's a cool guy. Looks like he could be a TV personality some day. Maybe Jason and Tiki Barber could be on an NFL show in a few years WHEN he retires. He said he would DEFINITELY be back next year with the Dolphins on ESPN a few minutes ago so there's no need to worry about that anymore.
I hope he's keeping his cell phone handy if any coaches/gm's they're talking to have some questions or just want to get to know him. Same thing for Zach and guys like Kevin Carter. All three of them look like the natural leaders of the team to me. They could be pretty persuasive in getting us a damn good coach. I think it's about time we find us a quality coach like Cowher or Jeff Fisher with the Titans. Both of them have been in it for the long haul, they've gotten results, and just about everyone likes and respects them.
