Emitt Smith stuck around and went to the Cardinals to get the rushing record, some would argue Favre stuck around to break some passing records, how can you blame him? Of course he wants to win a SB, he will play just as hard as he normally would and hope he can help a team get there on his way to breaking one of the most coveted all time records, you have to admit coming up 2 short of breaking a record when you just proved you can still play with 7 sacks this past season would suck....yes it is his own fault for makingthe decision before the season was over, but i also understand he wanted that recognition of his "last game" where he could have the opportunity to be carried off the field

Of course the best team he played on was the '10 Jets, that was the team that carried him closest to a SB.

just becuase he has ZERO taste in teams doesn't make him wrong.

Yes, I would stay clear too. His stock has been down from a leadership stand point for a few years now. We want a new team a new era right.

A) Emmitt already won 3 SBs
B) he broke the rushing record w/ Dallas BEFORE he went to Arizona.

Favre was another selfish player but he had won a SB.


He's not 2 short of a record, he's 2 short of the next guy in line. I understand he'd like to move past him but I'd rather hear a guy say how badly he would like to playa ain to win rather than to move past another player in line.
 
Maybe if he got a couple of sacks in games that meant something....

I know most will think I am bashing him b/c I don't like him but that has little to do w/ it and I actually do like him much more now than before he played for us. Taylor was the ultimate front runner, in meaningless games he was a terror but ion a big game game he disappeared. I think he played in 9-10 postseason games w/o a postseason sack.
 
Can you be a player/Coach??? Could they pay him as a coach and put him in very sparingly???

Didnt baseball have player/managers??? Just a question, I really dont know the rules on that
 
If we get Peyton, Taylor will want in. I'd sign him, we've had worse backups.
