I really doubt the Jags want him anymore, they got Groves and Harvey and spent a lot to get those guys already.

So, let me make sure I understand this...
1. Pass rushing defensive ends are a highly valuable commodity
2. The Dolphins have a pass rushing defensive end one season removed from being the league's best defensive player
3. He should be unloaded for a third round pick ASAP in order to make the team better ?!?!
Ask yourself this: What is the likelihood that a player picked at the end of the third round* will have the impact of a Jason Taylor?
Had a second round pick been offered, perhaps you take the long view and roll the dice. Now? Trade him for the sake of trading him?
Madness.
*since the "noble cause" behind unloading the best defensive player on the squad is to get Taylor to a contender... and no "contender",outside of the Patriots, picks early in the third

I doubt it....why trade him for a 3rd rounder when he still is the best, or close to the best guy we have on defense? Make little sense to me, unless the Tuna just wants to dump salary.

The jags gave Balt both of the 3rd picks for #8. But I think we could trade Tampa for #83 and #120. Maybe they didnt want to give up a 2nd but will for this . With this trade we could take #64 Godfrey/Molden #83 Carl Nicks/Anthony Collins/Greco and with #120 Marcus Harrison/Beau Bell/Pressley

I dont understand why it "sucks" to still have JT on the roster.
The guy is clearly still a great player and you wanna ship him off for some player that hasnt even played a down in the nfl.
We all know what JT can do for this team.
I for one love the fact that JT is still aboard.
If he gets shipped today for a 3rd rounder ill be mightily upset.
