Nope this isn't a get rid of Jason Taylor thread...

I for one was a tad:fire: bit upset to see him miss the tackle for a loss that ended up in a touchdown...however I wish that ALL DOLPHINS would of had the heart that he showed by realizing the mistake he made and busted his *** to try to make the play after he missed the tackle instead of standing there stomping a foot down on the deck and saying..."awww my bad, I will do better next time coach".

I thought that play was a 2 yd loss for sure.....JT didn't make the play but showed heart and pretty darn good speed chasing Pittman downfield....

It's funny we are mostly talking about JT and his mistakes instead of the "big plays" he makes, I haven't seen the last three games so I cannot tell how is he actually doing in this defense so, is he having problems adapting to it?

yeah he tried hard to make up for that missed tackle but i still wish he had tackled him!! I was just as bothered seeing Taylor coming to the sideline alot and seeing him take some plays off. I was watching him on alot of plays and he looked a bit slow to me getting to the qb. The foot was IMO bothering him. What amazed me then was that speed he showed to nearly catch the Bucs RB. I dont think there are many DE's in the NFL that have JT's motor.

Agreed, I think all he did when he missed the tackle was just let out a word before he took off chasing Pittman, funny part is .. hell I thought our DE was gonna catch their RB, and he damn near did.

JT is one hell of a player but there's no excuse for not making that tackle in the backfield. It would have been one thing if Pittman was LT, Edge, or Shaun Alexander but Pittman made JT look bad on that play. JT is an all-pro DE who gets paid to make those plays. He definitely showed heart chasing him down unlike our DB's who were nowhere in site after getting burned.

If it weren't for Jason Taylor and Zach Thomas we would be talking about who we wanted to draft with the #1 overall pick in next year's draft. If we had some of these kinda guys on offense we would be alright. Lets see if our offensive line has any heart at all next week when we go against an average KC defense. Their d-line in my eyes is pretty weak, so if we can't handle them then we're in some deep trouble.
