Jason Whitlock is filling in for Jim Rome today and just said that he thinks Harrington is a better quarterback than Culpepper is. He said he predicts a qb controversy even when Culpepper is 100 percent healthy and that by week 10 Harrington will prove to be the better player and win the job.

THOUGHTS?

I don't see that happening but I wouldn't care. As long as we have a good starting QB, I don't care who it is.

Don't let Jason Whitlock interview Ricky Williams. Ricky might get an accidental whif and end up suspended for life.

I guess I know now when I read the thread title my first thought was, "Who is Jason Whtilock".

I have been watching ESPN for the last hour, and I am completely puzzled. Do they not listen to their own networks reports? Maybe they should be watching Sportscentre, instead of appearing on it.

First, Trey Wingo making the BOLD statement that Daunte will miss 6 games. Then this guy (who is he anyway? From the KC newspaper? Sheesh), claims that Daunte will be nothing without Moss (ahh.. that argument again.. how refreshing) and that Joey will win the job by Week 10 because he will be getting all the TC reps.

Awesome.

I don't see it happening in this lifetime but, like Byroan said, as long as the best QB on the roster is playing and winning games, I wouldn't care.

The point is, for the "non diehards", they watch ESPN and expect to be getting well-researched, solid information.

First, they contradict their own reports about Daunte. Then, they come out with some ridiculous garbage like this from some Kansas City based reporter.

He writes for some paper in Kansas City. He's a really big black guy. You've probably seen him on espn before. He's on The Sports Reporters from time to time. I usually don't mind him but he's just making an a$$ out of himself today on Rome is Burning. It's not just because of the stupid Harrington comment either. He's just not doing a good job hosting the show.

Whatever! Just means weve got 2 QB's busting to get us to the SuperBowl

Its improbable but possible.I hope it goes down that way because then we would have two top notch QBs on our roster. It would be better than the situation the Chargers had last year because both players would be proven veterans and thus highly marketable.

"Jason Whitlock says Harrington will beat out Culpepper when both are healthy"

Anybody care to make a wager on this?

Jason W is a nobody. He thinks Barry Bonds is a God and wonders aloud why we don't persecute McGuire the same way we do Bonds.

He could have taken the harrington just wants to go some where and mature for a year or two and then start for some other team but the producers probably told him what opinion to have and he had to go with them.
