Has pretty muched burned every bridge in Green Bay. Don't necessarily want to come off as a Madden roster dreamer but it's a decent topic to get our minds off of Culpepper/Brees. What do you guys think? I'd take him over TO in fantasyland.

Are we looking at every friggin player coming off of a serious injury this past year?

Why don't we just revive Walter Payton from the dead and have him back up Ronnie Brown?

Haha. It does seem like lots of the big names out there are damaged goods.

Don't take my post so seriously. People on these boards really have no sense of humor or need for light conversation. I specifically mention how I have no dreams about getting Javon Walker and building up some All-Madden team. People need to lighten up. He is out there if he is on ESPN refusing to be in GB, having held out last year and probably holding out again this year. I wouldnt want him but thats because he is a Nole.

I wouldn't want him. But while we're playing, why not trade for Brett Favre and then draft Jay Cutler? Actually I'd kill for that scenario but it's really just not gonna happen.

And on Walker, I don't like players that hold out and I doubt Saban has any patience for that. Plus, I may be in the minority on this but I wasn't really concerned with our receivers last year. I like Chambers a lot and I think Marty Booker is too good to be relegated to a role as the third receiver. I'm still not sold on Chambers as a solid number one receiver, I think he still drops too many balls, but it's not enough of an issue that it needs to be addressed immediately, there's time to see how Chambers grows. Plus I really like Wes Welker and I'd like to see how he fares as a third option.

Walker will not hold out this year, he was injured most of last season and did nothing he has not an ounce of leverage in terms of contract negotiating

I prefer JImmy Walker from GOOD Tmes and Velona as our lead cheerleader

Dead or Not... Walter would start over Ronnie... But not Ricky... ok.. and Ricky too.

I thought our receivers were mediocre at best, but definitely not our biggset problem. I do think Walker is out of GB, just not to us. 530k is way too little for him.

Eh, as far as receivers go I think Chambers is definitely a solid option. As I said I'm not sold on him as the number one, but he definitely can produce. He's shown us that his whole career. I've always liked Marty Booker, even when he was in Chicago I thought he was a good receiver. He didn't get many opportunities this year, but I look for that to change next year.

I also contribute a lot of the mediocrity to the sometimes inconsistent play at quarterback. Gus played well enough, but he still only completed about 50 percent of his passes and he also threw a lot of very poor balls to wide open receivers. It's tough to play lights out when your quarterback throws balls at your feet and over your head. I don't think receiver is a problem at all, maybe an upgrade at the third or fourth receiver position, but no one major.

I brought up a similar post. Some people are jumping allover T.O when we know what headcase, jerk he is, and he's will only be a short term player, he's 32. The guy's being payed minimum, and he wasn't trying to cause problems like T.O. He comes back to play for what he was payed and what happens, he's injured for the whole season. I can't blame him for wanting more money. I was thinking Miami getting him made more sense, than T.O. I don't understand this love affair with T.O that some people have. Walker is a really talented receiver that I think is only getting better, plus Chambers coming out. I think Miami's offense would be just as dangerous with Walker as with T.O and it would be more long term and less chance of ruining a teams' chemistry. Yeah, he had his inury but he didn't have injuries beofre, it was an unfortunate thing, but I think he will bounce back fine. I think his injury was similar to Steve Smith's. T.O had a pretty serious inury also last year, I'm not really worried about the injury so much. Some people are all gung ho on having this allstar offense with T.O, when in reality Javon Walker would be a much better option.

Half the poeple that have posted in this thread need to take a minute to think for a minute before they post.

A 6-3, 220 pound receiver that had over 1400 yards when healthy, doesn't want to stay in GB and is young?

And none of you want him?

That is just ridiculous, if he is on the market you go after him, especially if we get Brees, Culpepper or a solid QB. It doesn't matter if you have a good #2. He is a star when healthy and you at least inquire about him.
