Is there any truth to the rumor that the dolphins are speaking or have spoken to Javon Walker about coming to play for Maimi?
 
I never knew we were talking to J. Walker. That's news to me...

And honestly, I doubt we'd be able to afford him....

I wouldn't overpay for him. He's coming off an injury right after he was doing his T.O. imitation last offseason looking for more money and even getting Favre to comment that he was screwing team chemistry up by having such an attitude.
 
The guy is a good receiver, but a potential cancer in the locker room. GB is only asking for a mid to later round pick which is great. The problem is he hasn't played since his injury and he is going to be demanding top money. As much as I would like to see him on our team, he is to much of a problem to risk chemistry with in the locker room.

he makes like 1/10 of what t.o is makin. javon walker wasnt even gonna make a mil last year. were paying a mil to some of our backups
 
JW is not a locker room cancer, he was at the end of a contract and seeking another, like any other player and what he feared would happen, happened without security. Prior to him asking for security, you never heard of negative stuff from JW..so you guys are going a little overboard on this. And I think B. Farve should have stayed out of it.
 
if the rumors are true and they are only asking for a mid to later rounder... how can you not pull the trigger. This is another guy with pro bowl potential, and he spoke out cuz he was looking to secure his future after his previous contract ran out. If you guys were even considering TO, walker would be a cake walk in comparison...
 
Even assuming that Favre was wrong for speaking out (and I don't think he was because Javon went overboard), the fact is that Javon is gonna look for a very nice payoff AND he's coming off a big-time injury. We'd have to trade ANOTHER draft pick, pay some BIG bucks for him, AND hope to God he's over the injury.

I'd pass on him.
 
We do not need to invest a lot of money in the WR position IMO. Also, I believe this rumor is false!
 
calling these characters 'locker room cancers' is an insult to cancer sufferers & survivors worldwide. I propose the term 'locker room gonorreas". Much better.
