Hey everyone, long time reader, first time poster!

Sorry if this has already been posted, but I came across it on another site and just wanted to share it with everyone!

Jaws has a lot of good things to say about John Beck, as do a number of the other analysts. It seems like everyday that goes by, I like Beck more and more...:D

Great post. Thanks. Going by what the "experts" say weve got the next Drew Brees. I wont argue with that. Ive watched tape on Beck and the guy has pocket awareness and can move around. Im pumped with his pick IF Ginn comes through. Beck will be solid, Gin needs to get fit and show his stuff to prove he was worth a #9 pick. Ginn can do serious damage with the ball if/when hes fit.

I liked the pick from the get-go. I thought Quinn was over-rated and still do. I think this was the better way to go. Im not so worried about the age thing because for me it just means maturity and the ability to handle the pressure. You get a 21 or 22 year old they might sit out 2-3 years but i think Beck can come in sometime this coming season or next. I like it and i think it will work out. Ginn i wanted as well. Id hope we would trade down for him but i still wanted him in the 1st. If he is healthy, he is a beast. Just my opinion...

Dude that is a great post! I am sold on Beck and thanks so much for all that great video. Not all of us have Espn so it was nice to see that on here.

I was among those who MURDERED this front office when they passed on Quinn. I'll be happy to be proven wrong should both Ginn and Beck prove themselves on the field this year.

Same. I couldn't even sleep that night. Just kept replaying those 12 minutes in my head over and over. I remember high-fiving my buddy that we finally got the "QB Savior" thinking there's no way we pass on Quinn. Ah well, I hope to eat crow in a year or two.

Well, Think of it this way, if he is the real deal, and only plays till 36 (Most good QBs reach at least this point), that will mean that we will have had a good QB at the helm for 10 years....I can deal with that.
