I thought this was a pretty cool vid. Jay Ajayi, Steve Marriucci, and Terrell Davis have a training session and sit down with some of the top RBs in this year's draft class.

Enjoyed it. Thank you. I liked at the end when Davis and Jay gave them advice about always believing in yourself even when your confidence gets challenged by other more talented players. He seems like he is talking from experience and that self confidence helped keep him on track and eventually to the Hall of Fame. Great advice for all of us.

The the most special player we have on the offensive side of the ball.

I would say that Ajayi is more important to the success of the team...special though(?), but that would underestimate the importance of the o-line that I wanted us to complete in FA and the draft. Tannehill becomes a good QB when he has a running game and time to throw.

As far as standing out at his position, Ajayi is definitely up there among team members - certainly had some special games last year - along with the O-line in those games. Will be curious to see his sophomore (effectively) effort this year - typically this would be the season most RB's have one of their best....and there I go again...thinking yet another of our players is due for a good year, but hey there are legit reasons for all of it.

Ajayi was a huge reason for our sucess last year and with a more consistent offensive line hopefully do more. Wonder how that sore shoulder is coming along. If its a issue this year that will be huge for our team

Its still amazing to me how he turned it around last year from being left at home Week 1 to turning in 3 200 yard games during the season. Says a lot about his mentality. I really thought he was a diva who would go in the tank after being benched, but he proved everyone wrong.

How was Jay Ajayi being a diva?

He lost his job to a guy who didn't even participate in training camp. He should have been mad at Gase for that dumb -ish.

I enjoyed watching that. Thanks for sharing. Ajayi is becoming a prominent member of this team. Neat to see after his benching and turn around last year.

He said he thought he was, not that he was.

I'd say that title belongs to Landry.

He initially responded poorly to Arian Foster's presence on the team and didn't rise to the occasion when presented with competition. After his initial poor response he turned it around and regained his confidence.

How would you have "responded" if a player was given a job...your job you've applied for all summer, fresh off an injury, and didn't just go through a training camp....

Gase made a bad decision with Ajayi that game. I'm glad Ajayi was big enough to seemingly look past it. I wouldn't have.
