The Dolphins clinched a playoff spot in Week 16, which was not something that felt particularly likely when the team opened the year with four losses in their first five games.

Things began to turn around in Week Six when Jay Ajayi ran for 204 yards in a 30-15 win over the Steelers that touched off a six-game winning streak and nine wins in 10 games. It’s fitting, then, that Ajayi had another monster game as the Dolphins moved into the postseason.

Gotta give a special shout out to defensive coaches, Rex and Rob for this one. 10 men on the field for Ajayi's long run in OT. :hump:

That made up for the 2 guys he had to single handedly mow over on that first touchdown run

Can't say it would not have made a difference with 11 guys on that 57yd run, but the way he was running it may not have

and apparently 10 men on the field for the game tying FG

In 2013 under Joe Philbin, the Dolphins needed to beat the Jets and Bills to get into the playoffs. They scored a combined 7 points in the two games. In 2016 under Adam Gase, the Dolphins needed to beat the Jets and the Bills to get into the playoffs. They scored a combined 68 points and had the AFC Offensive Player of the Week in both weeks.

Reporter> Would you describe Jay Ajayi's style of running?
Bill Belichick> Well he describes his style as angry and I wouldn't disagree with that

LMAO

So you're saying they're pretty similar

Big doins! I would have NEVER predicted this kids performance!

Heck, I didn't think he was a legit NFL RB at the start of the season!

His physicality is really impressive -- he's an "EXPLOSIVE" athlete!

:)
