Dolphins running back Jay Ajayi is aware that the Steelers are favored in the game and that plenty of people think they hold a big advantage over Miami in the talent department. He thinks those people aren’t paying close enough attention to what the Dolphins will bring to the field this weekend.
“We hear a lot of talk about the other team and who they have and the players that they have,” Ajayi said, via the Miami Herald. “And it’s kind of starting to get to me where you have to understand we have players too, you know? We have guys that are playing at a high level and are showcasing their abilities. And I think it’s time people need to respect that we have players on our offense, too, and we can get some stuff done when we’re on our game.”

I like hearing they have a chip on their shoulder. A little extra motivation never hurt!

Jay, who is already ferociously nasty on the field, may just turn out to be a great leader as well.

Not sure how our defense will play this weekend, but I have no doubt in my mind that Jay, Landry, Moore, Stills and Parker are ready to go. Everyone is healthy too so that is a great plus.

Now will that translate to the team getting off to a faster start? Only time will tell.

Those tackles feel a little harder in the cold, so tackling Jay will not be fun for any Steelers defensive player on Sunday.

Offensive side of the ball is not a problem. It's the defense that needs to find it pride and punch them in the mouth.

They talk about Pittsburgh like that b/c they've won in the past. I get what Jay is saying but Miami needs to win meaningful games for the dopes in the media to give them the proper respect.

It is a problem because of the notorious slow starts. If they can get going early and control the time of possession, that's a winning formula that Dallas has used very effectively this year to cover up an average defense and keep them fresher.

On the flip side, if we start slow again, that takes away from our strength on offense....running the ball.

Ben, sure.

But how many SB rings do Brown and Bell have?
