Do you think Jay cutler will be around when we draft.......I certainly think we need to get somebody that can be a potetial starter for us down the line and Jay Cutler should be the man......Go Redsoxs, Canes, Knicks, and DOLPHINS!!!!:dolphins: :koolbang: :couch3:

What would it take to get him?

and if you were going to make that decision why not just step up and get Vince Young?

Just a question.

Totally agree, some of us realized that a long time ago, unfortunately everybody realizes it now, we'll have to see how the draft unfolds.

We would have to move up into the top 10, around 9. Us sitting at 16, we have almost not chance at him. Depending on his senior bowl performance, and then at the combine, I could see him going as high as 4 to the Jets (if they don't want to deal with Chad any more) or at 6 to the Raiders. This of course all depends on what teams do in FA

I'd rather have Cutler than Young.

Don't forget the Titans at #3, they've been working with him all week.

True.. I still think the top three picks are set.. but that's why the combine and seinor bowl have so much effect on the draft..

The bummer about this is that the Dolphins six game winning streak at the end of the year cost them a higher draft pick. Then last year when they have a high draft pick, no QB is worth taking. It seems they can never win when it comes to getting a future QB.

I would take either one. But Cutler is Ben Rothlisberger cept with a little more arm and zip maybe. The clips I saw on NFL Network showed me he can put it up over the LB's nicely and with mustard at the same time. I think there are already top draft picking teams who are salivating over the possibility of Cutler. I think the next question becomes does Brody Croyle make it to us at 16 because his stock is also rising. People will say 2nd round but Senior bowl showing could change that in a hurry.

would you? why?

legal disclaimer: I never watched Cutler play all year I did see plenty of highlights but high lights and watching whole games I believe you can judge better.

I saw a lot of VY this year and that why I like him.

Never say Never with Saban.

Trading up to get Vince Young would take WAY too much.
