I saw Cutler in person play vs. my beloved Gators in the Swamp this year. This kid single handedly kept his severely under-talented team into the game. This kid led two touchdown drives against a pretty solid Gator defense in the final 4 minutes of the game. He picked us apart like we were a high school team.

I am all for drafting this kid. When he was chosen preseason all SEC QB, I really didn't understand why. But after seeing him up close and in person, I am convinced. Although Gus has improved the past couple weeks, it is time to draft a QB, and I think in terms of where we will be drafting and who is available, I think we should be able to get him.

The more I see and study this kid the more you fall in love with his abilities. He has a gun-slingers mentality and has great size, arm, and mechanics. Mark my words...he WILL go in the first round! Love to see him wearing aqua and orange. :dolphins:

I'll be happy if he's the next Cutler and playing for us.

Ozzy rules!!

Go Italy 2006 world cup

If that is the case, I would love to see him in Miami next year. Saban will know what he possesses for talent. His team clobbered him in 2004 but that team was pretty awesome.

The only game I watched of his was the Florida game. I was impressed. I'll be keeping an eye out for him at the Senior Bowl.

Gotta cut Losman a little slack. Its his first year starting and he doent suck as bad as Alex Smith LOL. Really though, Losman has his flashes and he may become a good QB

Vanderbilt is a school with very high academic standards, they are never on a par or even field from a football talent standpoint.

Vanderbilt enters every season with absolutely no shot of ever winning the Southeastern conference.

Jay Cutler carries this team, his talent alone allowed them to take the Gators to overtime, and defeat Tennessee, a team they never beat.

I understand that, jsut brought it up because Saban has coached directly against him and will be able to judge his talent first hand. Which it seems he likes to do.

What sold me on the kid is when I realized how little talent he has around him. For him to accomplish what he has with who he has, I really think he might be the steal of the draft. The Senior Bowl will go a long way in determining how high he gets picked.

I've seen few of his games...and yes, every time i watch him play I come away more and more impressed. Remember his stock is going way way up, and this before the post season senior bowl and the combine. Last time i looked he was #16 in Mel Kipers board.
