Who do you think will win this competion IMO if Feely doesn't get back out to the field soon we are going to have a new kicker in Dan Carpenter who i hear is having a pretty good camp and hasn't missed a FG yet and Jay Feely has missed a one and has bearly made a few other ones so who do you think will win Jay Feely or Dan Carpenter
 
To be fair, Carpenter has missed a couple of FG's. But those misses are few and far between. Ever since Dan came on as a UDFA, I've just had a feeling he would be our new kicker. I truly believe that Saturday night will reiterate that feeling.
 
If Carpenter shows that he can handle the duties through preseason, we should keep him and see what we can get for Feely. Save the salary cap space, and get a pick out of it. Whatever happens though this is a no lose situation for the Dolphins. Its nice because we haven't had too many of these the last couple of years.

My bad from what i read i didnt see anywhere where he missed a FG
 
stronger leg, better accuracy with kick-offs to add.... i like Carpenter... he drilled that 40+ yarder after sneeking the first one in.
 
Carpenter looked pretty good last night, I'm hoping that the wins the starting job. He even made one off of the infield dirt...something we've been missing.

I hope we find a way to keep him on the team if he doesn't beat out Feely
 
I think Carpenter will beat out Feeley for the specific reason that Feely is injured. PLus PArcells hates kickers, they are meaningless to him.

I cannot believe we got a pick for Mare. It is incredible.

I think that Feely is gone. He talks a bit too much for Parcells liking.
