Idk from what i've seen i think jay would have still been a better fit w. the dolphin's also he look's very impressive w. the jets what do you guy's thinK>>

Agree 100%. Jay was a capable QB and I believe will be a great back-up just not for us.

I, for one, feel that we got rid of the wrong QB. Unfortunately for Jay, he had too many cards stacked against him (salary, weak arm, the fact that the Phins were obligated to keep AJ after spending a 2nd round pick on him, and the wrath of the fans). It was just as well that Jay went elsewhere since he was doomed if he stayed here. Mark my words, if Penny goes down, Fiedler will light our defense up. History has shown us that our former players that go on to our AFCE rivals tend to have their biggest games against us.

His time here was up. Regardless of whether or not he would have been a better fit for the current O.
 
As much as many of you guys hate Fiedler, and I think it's a lot, at this point I think it's hard to argue that the CRAP we have now is any better. Many will not like this but the truth hurts. Jay was at least average right from his first start vs Seattle in 2000 and PLEASE don't anybody make mention of a new offensive system, new coaches and new players because Fiedler was at even more of a disadvantage in 2000 because not only did he have those tings working against him but he also missed almost all of training camp.

The next preseason game is the dress rehersal, let's hope we can get some average QB play at least.
