"The Dolphins might be thinking they can win this one. Ricky Williams might be getting there with his conditioning as he showed some flashes last week in a loss to the Saints.

But given all that, the Patriots are too well-coached, and have too much pride to lose this game. Even though New England is coming off a loss to Indianapolis, it is still a good team, a heck of a lot better than its record.

The Patriots are a dangerous team and still the class of their division. It will help to not be facing the Indianapolis offense, too.
Pick: Patriots"

Maybe this wasnt worth its own thread but I love it when "analysts" try to sound like they know what they are talking about and they cant even get the games right. And the last time I checked NE was 4-4 and only one game in front of us.

Novacek is a moron and he usually sucks at picking his games anyways. I love watching his picks crumble. (Well when he isnt picking the fins that is, thats the only time i truly agree with his picks :chuckle:) GO FINS

Sounds pretty straight up to me.

Most of what he said was right on. The only wrong word in the entire thing was "Saints". At least he got the division right.

We beat the Saints

he made a mistake on the saints thing but other than that it's pretty decent

I would say the Patriots are the class of the division. Three SBs in four years? So what that they're 4-4? The Pats are still the benchmark for success and that which all franchises try to achieve. Still sounds like they are the class.

Jay Novacek? Where the hell is he reporting from?

he's speaking into a can of aerosol deodorant in his basement, in front of a cardboard "camera"

What is so moronic about his statements ?? The Pats are a well coached team, they are the class of the division...afterall, do you really think Gus is going to miraculously become a decent QB ?? Do you think the Jest can make a turnaround without a QB ?? The Bills stand the best chance of challenging the Pats and that's questionable. The issue here is that until the Pats are sitting at home in February, they are the class of the division...
