I just thought it would be appropriate that we thank Jay for everything he's done for the team as the starter the past 4 years. As much as some people dislike him and boo him and what not, the man has given it everything he's got and has left it all on the field for us. Thanks Jay.

Alright, I thought it would be cool if we actually gave the man credit for ONCE and just posted all the good memories we have of Jay at the helm.

I'll start it off with that outta hand play he had against the Jets where he ran it into the endzone and jacked up Donnie Abraham. Sick play.

He ran it into the endzone against the Raiders for us one time. Also a sick play.

I think this is a very appropriate way to perhaps give us closure to the Jay Fiedler era in anticipation of a long run for AJ.

My favorite Jay memory is the win at Denver. I was crushed when I found out he broke his thumb before he threw his last passes to make his vital contribution to that win, but my respect for him went up immensely as a result. May AJ and all Dolphins QBs have that sort of grit.

I'll never forget his mad dash + dive into the endzone to give us the 'W' vs. the Raiders. Also, who could forget Thanksgiving last year in Dallas...that's the most accurate i ever saw him throw the ball. If only he could play like that every day :(. Thanks for the memories Jay...Now get to the back of the bus, and let A.J. drive this thing! :cooldude:

Don't forget the touchdown he had against the Raiders in Miami in September 2001. And his come-from-behind victory over Washington last year (the first Dolphins home game I've ever attended).

Hes pissed me off so many times I cant count but he gets HUGE props for Dallas last year he :0wned:

Ditto, but I have a feeling we haven't seen the last of Jay, if we have, then we've got ourselves a QB in AJ.

That prun against the Raiders was amazing...and I think it was the week after 9/11, what a great game and great way to get everyone's minds off of the tragedy.

I think it was a game against JAX where we had a sweep or something and Jay went over and lit up their DE to spring the run. What a great play. There are countless other plays that Jay showed heart...got his head pounded and got up, helmet crooked, and didn't look phazed. That man gave everything he had on the field and I really think the team needed that. We have some great players but Jay's hussle really moved the chains. I hope the guys put that much respect and trust in AJ.

I think if we had a halfway decent coach, Jay could have taken us to a super bowl, or at least a lot further than he did in the past. A lot of the lack of success to make or go deep in the playoffs should be placed directly on the play calling of DW. I honestly believe Jay could have taken a team to a super bowl, with the right situation surrounding him (i know a lot of people that feel the same way)

I'd like to give Jay props for that beautiful 15-20 yard pass on-a-rope to Chambers in the end zone. You know the pass, it's the only one he's had in four years!! Way to go, Jay!!!

Yeah, it's a pretty played out theme already. Give the guy a break.

The Redskins game was awesome. The Denver game was the best game I have watched in my short football watching life.

Thanks Jay :beerbang:

Def. remember that Raiders game! I think it was Trace Armstrong he juked out to dive in.
