Jay, thanks for your services.

Jay's best performance imo was a couple seasons ago in Denver when he broke his hand and lead us to like a ridiculous 54 yd fg by Mare. Although he nearly got Chambers killed.. It's funny i used to expect Mare to make fgs now I expect him to miss them.

I'm glad that Jay is getting his props now. I think the Denver game was a thing of beauty and shows how much heart and passion for the game this guy has. With a broken thumb, he moves the team into field goal range. It is by far one of the best games I've seen teh Dolphins play.

I can only hope that if AJ doesn't live up to teh hype or gets injured, Jay can come in and show the same heart he's always had.

Thanks Jay for the sweat, blood, and tears and being so devoted to the Dolphins! :)

he tried and gave his best, i cant say that for all of our guys, i hope he stays as our backup for a few years

I remember that Monday night game against the Jets when Feidler played like a probowler that first half and then stood on the sidelines and said ''There aint no way they're coming back''. That was one of the best first half's of a game I ever saw him play. Thats all I remember about that game. :D

Thanks for all the memories of Jay. So maybe this is why Wanny wont announce AJ as the starter for the season, he is trying to predict which game will be that single game per season that Jay plays well.

Remember that time Bobby Boucher I mean Jay ran the sneek around the end dove in for the TD and broke that Jets CB's shoulder. Or the block he put on Tony Brackens last year that sprung that one RB for a TD after he ran 30 yds behind the line of scrimmage for the TD. The game against Dallas was awesome. The Redskins game, The Denver game. Thanks Jay for everything.

I always said Jay was a tough guy, we have the best back up in the NFL now !

By the way my greatest memory was how he lit up the Jests for over 300 in the last game of the year, crushed those green punks !!

My favorite memory of Jay was last year when he threw that awesome block against Jacksonville for the pot head and he scored.

Yeah, it's a pretty played out theme already. Give the guy a break.

YOU CAN HAVE ALL THE POSITIVE MEMORIES YOU WANT, 4 YEARS OF FAILURE. TRUE DOLFANS ARE STARVED FOR 30 + YEARS FOR A CHAMPIONSHIP...SO GOOD RIDDENCE!!! HOPEFULLY THE REPORTS OF MUSICAL QB'S AREN'T TRUE EITHER. WHY DON'T YOU START A HOW GREAT WANNY THREAD IS... FUNNY THING SHULA COULDN'T PUT A DEFENCE ON THE FIELD FOR MARINO, JOHNSON AND WANNY CAN'T PUT AN OFFENSE ON THE FIELD..HOW IRONIC..???
MAYBE THE NEXT COACH WILL UNDERSTAND THE CONCEPT OF BALANCE...
SORRY FUSTRATED DOLFAN....

I was at the Denver game (great stuff). I would like to thank Jay for the extreme effort, guts and class he has displayed. I still think he makes a hell of a back-up quarterback (see Redskins game last year).

the denver game def stands out, that one risky *** throw that went through the DBs hands had me sweating bullets, not the smartest pass but it worked and we eeked out the win... great game
