No way in hell. Dude got hurt when, November? He'll be lucky to be cleared for contact by preseason.

Agent will say that so teams will bid higher on him in the draft which means more money for him.

I think Smith fits best in a 3-4 anyway.

He fits any system. Best LB in the draft. When he is a perennial pro bowler for another team in a few yrs we can read the lamenting posts on Finheaven on how stupid our FO was for passing on him.

Well, I disagree that he's the best LB in the draft, and I obviously disagree that he fits in a 4-3 as easily as a 3-4. I don't think his agility is in the same zip code as Jack's, and I think his instincts are solid but not great.

I'm as homer as they come when it's about Jaylon but I'll defer to our "site experts" lol he's not the perfect player and I can be a realist and say that yeah, he probably wouldn't be best fit as a 43 mlb but I'd be damn happy if we drafted him regardless. Jack may be the better player and id be stoked to have either one. Either one would be nice to have in coverage roaming around
