This dude was huge at a small school (Ga. Southern) but put up incredible stats including second overall in rushing. He's very small at 5'7" 170 lbs. but I like this pick-up just as much as the Davne Bess signing. Walter Payton was also from a small school and that seemed to workout for the Bears eh? What do you guys think of this kid? I'm trying to get something going besides all the JT talk. Lemme know whats up :woot:

The guy's fun to watch. I'm really rooting for him. He completely outclassed terrible competition. Unfortunately, he is ridiculously small for the NFL. I only see him as a receiver coming out of the backfield, but he might turn into something special as a 3rd down back.

For real, he is super small but even so, he does have tremendous talent. Parcells has a knack for talent. Hope he pans out:woot:

I created him on Madden looks small as hell compared to the other WR haha

holy sh*t just seen his highlight reel on youtube wow this kid is a baller!!!!!!

Short guys have succeeded in the past. He's shifty like Barry Sanders, but too light to play runningback, so they moved him to WR. His WR stats were bad in college, but he's older now. Either he's a poor-man's Santana Moss, or he's a bust.

In the mini-camp video, I was impressed that by the time you snap he was facing the qb and ready to make the catch. He's got potential, and I'm rooting for him.

ps. In the past, I called Wes Welker a poor-man's Wayne Chrebet, and look at the guy lead the NFL in receptions last year. This guy could be as good as Welker (who was an undrafted free-agent).

Too early to even mention his name with the likes of Walter Payton.

"Wow saw the highlights as well does anyone know his 40 time. looked awfully fast out there."
-- 4.3

-- Agreed. BTW, Payton was 5'10, 200 pounds, so he was bigger. However, Foster won the "Walter Payton award" this year, so it's not unexpected to here Payton's name. Some of the previous "Walter Payton award" winners have had NFL success in the past.

Parcells had Dave Megget with the Giants and he was smallish but he excelled in the role created for him.

I can see the welker comparison but Foster has real break away speed to go along with his quick shifty moves.

Foster ran a legit 4.4 flat in the 40. I even heard that he ran in the 4.3's ...According to NFLDRAFTSCOUT.COM he ran a 4.34 in the 40 so he definitely has speed.

maybe we can use foster as a randle el-type guy..he was a QB and WR in college just like randle-el and has good speed..
imo foster would be a good fit in the reverse pass play..give the ball to him and let him then throw deep to ginn or wilford..this would be really exciting imo

I think we'll use him as a returner. They seem to want Ginn off of it. Even if Ginn stays on returns, this would be an insane tandem to have out there. No one would ever want to kick the ball to us.
