Jeff Darlington on the GM / OC search

I would appreciate the support dude. Bump wins this every year ( deservingly so ) but I'm not far behind so help a brother out :up:
 
Darlington had to get something out there quick. That was a given. He's mocked the notion that it's not an attractive situation in Miami. So when the appearance is that candidates are choosing to go elsewhere, whether it's coordinator or general manager, Darlington knows that it makes his prior assertions look bad. He had to deflect and rationalize, and soon, before the end of the day's news cycle.

There definitely are two competing narratives floating in the media.
There are facts that support both.
 
Probably true Awsi. It could be a tough sale if Ross gives Philbin and Dawn equal power.

I hate that set up and think the bean counter missy should only report to the GM. Probably Philbin as well.
Three people with equal power is a recipe for failure in my humble opinion.

I agree that the cap manager should report to the GM.

Unfortunately, you can thank Jeff Ireland for this mess as well, as it was his attempts to get Aponte pushed out of the organization that resulted in her being placed outside of his sphere of influence.

I disagree.
Nothing about the GM process is suggesting that we are not desired or the situation is flawed.
It looks like we have gotten the top rising talent out there to come in and interview.
 
Do we know if any of the candidates that took jobs in other spots were actually "offered" jobs in Miami?
