Jeff Fisher chimes in on public critcism of Ireland

Ryan has shown he is one of the top qb's in the nfl if only during regular seasons , ireland has proven nothing.
Ryan is headed in right direction ireland not so much. Personally I think if we have any success this year it will be because philben made it work, now long term maybe Ireland becomes a good gm. nobody in atlanta much like Indy back in the day is panicing and they know they have a franchise qb we have no clue what we have in ireland
Ireland has had some victories as well. As bad as his 2nd round picks have been, has done well with his first round picks. Free agents like Colombo and Gibril Wilson were terrible while Dansby and Burnett have turned out very good. As bad as the Marshall trade looks, the Bush trade was stellar. He hasn't found a franchise QB, but Tannehill could turn out to be that guy. I just find it interesting that you are so optimistic when it comes to Matt Ryan, but so pessimistic about the Dolphins

Yea why would anybody be optimistic about a qb with a lifetime 88 rating 95-tds 46 int 4 straight winning records 43-19 career record. Why about ireland should instill the same optimism based on his accomplishments. i mean they are not in the same ball park.

yeah Melty has been real good in the regular season, maybe someday he can turn around his abysmal playoff numbers

Just like one day Ireland may field a team that can make playoffs or even have a winning record. Only you think making playoffs and losing is the same as not even challenging for the playoffs but oh well. Took the great Peyton Manning until his sixth season to win a playoff game still didnt take away he was a damn good qb.
