I live in Tennessee and root for the Titans after my Dolphins. Fisher was very well liked here..regardless of what the media said or didn't say. He's a great coach. I think us landing him would probably be more reasonable than Cowher or Gruden.

Even though its not Tony's fault,if he gets fired I would seriously put Fishers name in the hat.Hes been a solid coach whos done very well in drafts.
Theres been a few coaches in the past 10 years or so to do a 2nd time around as HC.Tony Dungy,Dick Vermeil,John Gruden,Tom Coughlin and of course we cant forget Bill Belichick.
That doesnt mean he will but with the money Miami has always been willing to spend to bring in players as well Its not a bad idea.Correct me if im wrong but i think Bud was very tight when signing FA's.

My comment had nothing to do with Parcells but honestly you want to attack a guy who has raised more successful coaches then anyone else because of one hire? Take a look at his Giants staff in the 80's. All those guys are very good coaches.
I completely agree. My post was not to attack Parcells, just that maybe after all these years maybe he lost his touch.

I like the thought of how Gruden and Cowher won't have too much fire because they already have rings. Fisher wants the ring. He has the fire. Bring him during the bye and let him ride out the season to evaluate the team. I really don't feel like wasting my season tickets all because of Sporano. Another wasted year of season tickets..... I just want to go to a Dolphins game and enjoy a good win. It's been far too long

U made the pudding but forgot the proof.
I put Fisher over the Cowher, Gruden choices because of that 'fire'... I do believe that he has MUCH more to prove than the other two, who know just how comfy those commentator seats can be. His teams were always tough to play against win or lose... Of the big name hires he would top my list.
