While it is just March, this guys resume and this franchises current state......none of them earned it. But thats just my opinion.

Ireland was been playing us for quite a while now...time to cut the string.

If we get Tannehill then I won't complain because it will at least appear that we had a plan. However, if we do not secure a potential franchise QB on day 1 of the draft then I have to say that Ireland had a plan to sign Peyton or Flynn and it just failed. I do not blame Ireland at all for not signing Peyton for $96 Million as that move will cripple the Broncos for years to come, especially if Peyton gets hurt. Also, I don't blame him for not mortgaging the farm for Flynn or Smith...I am not convinced that either is all that much better than Moore. I think that the draft is where we will build this team and though it takes a ton of patience to ma ke the right moves, we need to stay on course. I would feel a lot better about FA if we brought in some O-line help but other than that, I am fine with where we are. The caveat to all of this, however, is that we do actually have a plan that was hopefully in place prior to "losing out" on Peyton, Flynn, and Smith. If we are at plan C or D, then we may be just as screwed as the media is making us out to be.

Not like we have a choice...but reaching for a QB at #8 isn't going to get me back to the stadium.

Ireland can go suck it. The process has been playing out for over 4 years with nothing to show for it.

Someone like Tanehill's stock is rising and it maybe a reach but if he pans out as many expect it could work out.

What process? We've already lost out (3 times) on signing a quality FA QB, the position of critical need, and there are none left. The draft is meaningless over the short term, because draft grades can't be made for 2+ years.

Unless we make quite the run, this needs to be his final year as Dolphins GM.

Does Ireland have the stones to take Weeden at no. 8?

....says the guy with an Avatar of one of the best players on the team that Ireland so just happened to pick up from the CFL. But I know, we should just ignore Long, Wake, Dansby, Burnett, Bush, Pouncey, Bess, Clay, Carpenter, V Davis, Moore, Odrick, Starks, re-signing Soliai for 2 years for what we paid him all of last year.
