Jeff Ireland full interview

Well Pat White is far from being a game changer but i hope he does cause this guy is going to be like Ginn, no matter how bad he hurts this team he is not going nowhere. Jeff seems to know what he is doing, but for some reason i do not like him.

And TheDon74 your quote is funny... so 42.7% of that Statistics is made up too? :chuckle:

Q. While we understand that building a football team is a never-ending process, do you feel the major building blocks are in place?
JI: I think we've got a couple of key ingredients; I don't think all the major building blocks are there. We have some core players, but we're still missing one or two. We have our left tackle, we have our young corners, but there are still areas that we need to keep working at to find the right mix.

Ireland does not include Henne in this group, and later only says that he will "get better," but he gushes about Pennington. Interesting.

Ireland said, "I recently got back from LSU. I was at Syracuse the week before. "

Bet he was looking at Brandon LaFell and looking into Williams, the receiver who quit.

I think LaFell would be a nice fit. He has good size and measurables, and he has been productive.

Golden Tate is a heck of a player, but at 5'11, may not provide the size the front office prefers.

Benn to me is not as instinctive as you might like.

He was definitely looking at lafell. Wouldn't be disappointed at all to hear his name on draft day.
