I think Jeff Ireland is not only viewed as a tool by Miami fans, he is viewed as a tool around the league. Other GMs know they can exploit him, and we end up dealing players for less than what they are worth and end up giving up more for players in trades than they are worth. Jeff Ireland has become a liability to the Dolphins franchise.

I agree with moving BM, but there is no doubt we could have gotten more for him than we did. WRs are divas by nature, yet teams pay for them regardless. Over the last 5 years (while missing 4 games), he has 32 TDs, almost 500 receptions and close to 6,000 yards. Those numbers eclipse Andre Johnson in yards and receptions, Greg Jennings in yards and receptions, Wes Welker in yards and TDs, Miles Austin in all 3 catagories, Roddy White in all 3 catagories, and the list goes on....Point is, no way we should have dealt him for 2 third round picks. GMs are taking advantage of Ireland, and Agents are going to start raping us as well. As long as Ireland is our GM, we are swimming against the current.

I happen to like Ireland.

He traded Marshall 2 days before that story came out. Yes we didn't get enough for him but at least we got some decent picks, not great but decent.

He just signed big Paul to a steal of a contract.

He flecced the saints for Reggie bush. ( Amaya and a swap of sixths)

Drafted pouncey who looks damn good.

Charles clay in the sixth is looking really good so far.

Jimmy Wilson had some good plays when thrusted into action. He's showed flashes. Most 7 th rounders don't even make the team.

I say for the 1 year that we know for sure he's making all the moves he did mighty good, so don't follow all the other ireland haters on this board.

As long as he doesn't ask Blackmon or Floyd if their mamas are prostitutes hell be fine by me lol

But he didnt have a plan to replace him

His Agent David Canter has been hammering Ireland since last season to extend the contract, Ireland wouldn't even return calls, Soliai didnt have to be a FA this offseason and certainly didnt need to be franchised last year. Beleive me credit David Canter not Ireland for thatone

He flecced the saints for Reggie bush. ( Amaya and a swap of sixths) Actually was a good deal, but Bush didnt have as much a market as you think.

Drafted pouncey who looks damn good.
Please it was the safe pic, he could have been much more aggressive with that pic and as usual he wenteasy street. Pouncey was safe and almost cant miss

Agreed

Selecting 7th Rounders are a roll of the dice not some genius plan by a GM

Plain and Simple Ireland has had every opportunity to upgrade the most important position on our and any NFL team and he has taken the safer route or plain ignored it at every opportunity. Untill we find our Franchize QB nothing else matters, no position no player. So No Ireland has done nothing to be praised for

As long as he doesn't ask Blackmon or Floyd if their mamas are prostitutes hell be fine by me lol
If we dont land Winston dont be shocked if Ireland goes OL, Again...Again.. and completely ignores WR early

Bla Bla Bla to the OP!!! That's all I read. You know nothing about running a franchise. Therefore, you lack integrity. Have a nice day :)

yeah, what he said.

And screw all you whiny bastards!!!!
Your the problem!! We need to get out of South florida or go to Orlando or something. The water down their makes you people weird!! The media just runs with your silly notions and you act as if you can do so much better with what I dont know.

Chubby, you and your gangbangers come around the same time every year and push your hate on everyone. Nobody cares! Its day three of FA and we still look good. Draft is where it all happens.

And your points are meaningless. Marshall became an instant problem with the last-straw punch. Forget it man. Your world is blind. You only see what you want to see in your hateful world.

I dont live in a hateful world lol, actually quite opposite. And even if I did still wouldnt change the fact that Ireland sucks at what he does.
Draft is indeed where it all happens and guess what, How many years has Ireland been drafting yet we are still missing the most important position on this team.

And I dont just come around this time a year, i'm always here.
I may not like Ireland but I love you and rest of FH even if you guys are a bunch of blind masochists. :)

Chubby, you got gangbangers? Somehow I don't think a show of teal will be as intimidating as blues, reds, and blacks, :idk:

Good points but everyone knows all of this but still feel the need to bash Ireland because they have nothing else to bash I guess. As long as Ross owns this team Ireland will be here so everyone needs to get used to it and get over it.

How do you know this. I know what a lot of us think of Ireland, but how do you really know how he is perceived? Crowder? The guys flying over the stadium with the banner? How?

Oh and for the record, dont forget it was your boy Ireland who chose to trade for Marshall and chose not to draft the Son of a Prostitute.
