Jeff Ireland is hampering the Miami franchise.

Alright, I have seen enough these last few days....every post is starting to look like either Homerism or Haterism. Between the Marshall trade and waiting on Manning to decide, you guys have been acting like a bunch of bitchy little middle school girls. Maybe it's me, or maybe it's you guys. Whatever the case, I'm taking a Finheaven break, until I hear some real news on PM's decision or we sign a QB or just until we are closer to the draft. In the meantime eff you all, and eff this team until they make a move towards winning!!! Peace the hell out!!!!

Who am I kidding, I'm addicted to this sheet!!! LOL

I think Jeff Ireland is not only viewed as a tool by Miami fans, he is viewed as a tool around the league. Other GMs know they can exploit him, and we end up dealing players for less than what they are worth and end up giving up more for players in trades than they are worth. Jeff Ireland has become a liability to the Dolphins franchise.

I agree with moving BM, but there is no doubt we could have gotten more for him than we did. WRs are divas by nature, yet teams pay for them regardless. Over the last 5 years (while missing 4 games), he has 32 TDs, almost 500 receptions and close to 6,000 yards. Those numbers eclipse Andre Johnson in yards and receptions, Greg Jennings in yards and receptions, Wes Welker in yards and TDs, Miles Austin in all 3 catagories, Roddy White in all 3 catagories, and the list goes on....Point is, no way we should have dealt him for 2 third round picks. GMs are taking advantage of Ireland, and Agents are going to start raping us as well. As long as Ireland is our GM, we are swimming against the current.

Glad you 'think'. All the rest is based on your feelings, and nothing of fact.

Could break down your post. But its a waste. You didn't take the time to think it through before posting, so why should I take the time to break it down?:lol2:

In the end, he did a great job getting that much for Marshall.

Just as somewhat of a comparison: Santonio Holmes was coming off of his best year and was traded by Pittsburgh to the Jets for only a 5th rounder. They were fed up with him, too, and he had the four game suspension looming which could possibly happen with Marshall, as well.

Props to Ireland for getting what he got.

How do you know that we could have gotten more? Were you in the negotiations? I could have sworn the pats gave up a 3d round pick for moss, that was later cut by pats and santonio was had for a 5th because Pitt grew tired of him. We got a lot for him.

This is not a defense of Ireland but can't we just merge all these redundant, tired, space clogging "Ireland sucks" threads into a super thread. You know, like the suck for luck thread. Otherwise it's sifting through 10 "irelands a moron" threads amongst the few threads that actually give value during the beginning of free agency

Better than blind loyalty, with a side of everything will be fine mentality.

Dealing with reality here.

The reality is it's mid March! FFS. People act like we've already played a game and lost 42-0. We haven't even seen what Philbin can bring to this team as a head coach. Not only that but, there's still tons offseason left...free agency JUST started, the draft is yet to come. No one is saying it's all gonna be all sunshine and rainbows, but damn with 6 months left in the offseason, you'd think people could at least wait until after the draft to start this stuff.

As FA moves along....we are creating more holes than filling....no FA WRs to speak of worthwhile....and our best QB option is Flynn bc he knows Philbin's system? Laughable.

People happy with our situation now, think this magical draft will bring us a WR core comparable to Green Bays, sorry...I don't believe Philbin has the midas touch come draft time where this will someone come to fruition.

GB wasn't built through FA. And it took a few drafts to get the WR corp they now have. So what's your problem? New coach, new system. It is what it is. What the **** do you want? You want Ireland gone? Too ****ing bad. You want them to draft who you want them to draft? too ****ING bad.

I guess sitting here day after day, bitching and whining constantly is something productive for you. But you and the rest of the like, need to grow up. This owner and FO heard the cat calls (you and your kind) and fired Sparano. New coach, new system. What's funny is you thought MIA was closer to a SB than they really are. I guess seeing MIA go 0-7 meant little. Again, NEW COACH NEW SYSTEM!
