building a solid team?????????????

I dont think so. they tore this team apart. All respect to Moore but we do not have a elite QB, we have the worse WR's group in the NFL, we have holes all along the O-line, All respects to fasano but we have one of the worse TE groups in the NFL, We have holes all along the DL, we have holes in the LB group, We have holes in the secondary.....We have a great kicking game!!!!!

See where JI went wrong is he had a decent team that needed some building. Instead he made the team worse. Marshall made the WR group decent but we traded him (for 2 3rd round picks) then to make matters worse we did NOTHING to even replace him. There were decent players out there and we fumbled them all. I agree other then Manning there were no other QB's out there. But JI had to know that the fan base would be moved if we did not get manning or Flynn. To ease the situation you do not trade Marshall, I'm sorry. Stupid move. You have Winston in here. we need an O-line player BAD. You fumble and dont sign him. He WANTED to be in Miami too. Many believed that if we had better Olinbe play wew could compete. We let him walk away.
Now the only offensive position that has a play maker is RB and me personally believe we need a better back then thomas and I really felt thet BJGE is a great pick up for us.

we DID NOTHING on defense. NOTHING we signed a back up corner that maybe can play saftey. Then we cut bell.

I cant defend anything this front office has done.

Let nthings play out.???????????? NAh
How? Miami has done nothing to get better. you think the draft is going to make this team better? We better hit on the fist 4 picks otherwise we will be picking in the top 5 next year.

Rebuilding of course we are so what you mean?????????? Our Defense is very solid and young only getting better 3 against the rush this year we resigned solia which was huge picked up a very good corner...Marshall dropped as many passes as he caught and hes a head case again you want that big name just to easy your pain regaurdless if he doesnt fit the system WE DONT NEED HIM recievers are replacable just like RBs esp one thats way over paid when compared to his production....Daniel Thomas what you talking about my man he went down with an injury and hell be a hell of alot better than BJGE (who fits the pats system wont be good outside of that)..Again your upset cause we didnt make a splash this proves my point!!..Winston ehhh why over pay for him but I would have liked him but we got some young guys who look promising....Again where not in win now mode philbin has a plan and he wants guys who fit his system which he will hand pick with Ireland who is a great talent evaluator..It all comes down to the qb which Ireland will get his guy this year because its his call not Parcells taking Henne and White!! Give it time this year is different you can see the plan and most dont like it cause we didnt make the MOVES THEY WANTED so now theres an uproar...they dont want to "be reckless"...I live in Pittsburgh been here my whole life and this is exactly what the Steelers do always grab some know name that fits their system and he turns into a beast thats how its done my friend!!!!!!

But in the meantime, Ireland said he is thrilled with the idea of adding Garrard."I've been chasing this guy since last year," Ireland said. "He's athletic, he has arm talent, he's got veteran experience, he brings great leadership. We went with a veteran at the position and we talked to Matt and he understands we need to play better at quarterback to get over the hump. So they'll compete and we'll see what happens."As a result, Ireland seems content for the time being. But if an opportunity comes open, he would study or even chase it.Read more here: http://miamiherald.typepad.com/dolphins_in_depth/#storylink=cpy#storylink=cpy

Am I the only one that caught this gem? Every year they miss their guy and every year when they sign their second, third, or, fourth option we get the well he was really our gut. And here it is! Don't give me this Garrard was a Probowler crap either that is nothing more then a popularity contest and if memory servesme correct he played in it the year it was in Miami before the Superbowl and most everyone sat out. David flipping Garrad and some of you are happy? The irony is many of the happy ones didn't want Manning because his neck surgery.

only we would be "chasing" david garrard since last season...unreal

"Sometimes they make other decisions. But it's a two-way street. We make our decisions also.""

Ya see, this is why he's an arrogant joke. Statements like this. No one wants to be on a team with "this guy". He's like a defensive 13 year old kid who got rejected by every girl in his class. Get this guy out of here before he runs our entire team into the ground (if he hasn't already).

What did he say that isn't true? Not arrogant.. just the fact IMO..

If I were Ireland, I wouldn't give a **** about what people say. His JOB is not to say pretty things. His job to evaluate talent and sign players to team friendly contracts.

There was no QB better than Moore on the market besides Manning. Gerrard will be a solid backup even though Davie is saying he'll compete. I'd be surprised if he beats out Moore.

Just a depth signing. I would expect us to be drafting QB for the next few years until we find our guy. Not all SB winning QB are top 10 draft picks.
