Jeff Ireland tiped his hand Drafting a Defence player ??

No he didn't tip his hand. I saw the local news clip of the press conference. He was having fun with the media. The look on his face told the story when questioned about his defense comment. He didn't look surprised. He had a smirk on his fance that turned into a bit of a smile. No lights were turned on today. We are still in the dark.
 
Could be smokescreen...who knows. This would have more impact if we werent picking first. We can have anyone we want.
 
ha, i think Ireland is a scout and Gm. He is not a professional public speaker. He probably just said one word instead of what we meant, and honestly, we're currently in talks with a LT. Clearly we're not looking at only defense here.
