Wake up and smell the roses. Ross trusts Philbin, he hired Philbin. Ross inherited the worthless scum that is Jeff Ireland. Ireland gets the can, Ross chooses a new GM that can actually acquire playmakers. This team lacked execution for most of the season.

Just a gut feeling.

I'd rather Ross's new GM make his own staffing choices.

Ross kept on Ireland and had many chances to jettison him, but did not.

Joe Philbin will gain more power before this is over and that is absolutely comical.

you know what wouldn't haven been great here, facts. No set info, no twitter, nothing new.

Ross did not inherit Ireland. He inherited Parcells. He stuck with Ireland. Ireland pushed the notion of getting the old man out and starting a new way of thinking with a plan. And Ireland was collaborative with all the coaches even though he had final say. This is why I say one more year. They live and die together for the sake of finding out if RT is the real deal in year 3.

Alot of this is on Philbin because his OC and DC are dissapointments and loyalty can be a killer.

Well, if something is going to happen, it should be soon. Ross would be competing with other teams for the best replacement candidates, so time isn't on his side.

What part of South Carolina are you in?

OP, don't be teasing us with thread titles like that unless u have facts to back it up.

Yes Ross inherited Ireland but has yet to fire him? Why do it now?!? It needs to be done but will it?

I would rather be a finfan than a Cleveland Brown fan.

I mentioned this in another thread but that Browns situation is downright strange, the way their cap situation was handled I think Chud was a stop gap all along and there must be a big name they are waiting on. They completely ****ed Chud by not spending any money whatsoever and forcing Weeden on him then they fire him after only one year when the team sucks? No ****ing **** the team was going to suck in that situation.

Absolutely. They've been trying to hire a big name since Haslem bought the team. Of course, it's better to be a Dolphan, but at least they're not accepting mediocrity anymore.
