Miami Dolphins starting linebacker Jelani Jenkins is likely out for the next two- to three-weeks after
undergoing an arthroscopic procedure on his knee this week. Jenkins injured the knee in Thursday night’s game against the Atlanta Falcons. The procedure, which is described as a “minor cleanup” was first reported by the Miami Herald’s Barry Jackson.
Jenkins was injured early in the team’s game against the Falcons, officially being listed as questionable to return but never making it back into the contests. Joining Jenkins as players injured against the Falcons were defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh, running back Isaiah Pead, defensive end Chris McCain, and defensive end Terrence Fede.
Jackson also adds that Fede was diagnosed with a sprained MCL, with no timetable for his recovery. McCain is believed to have a shoulder contusion that is not considered serious.
