Jeno James

I don't know about that. 7:30 PM is not exactly the hottest time of the day.

If I had to venture a guess, I'd say Jeno probably thought along the same lines and so didn't go that 110% out of his way to make sure he was fully hydrated and whatnot. I'm not assigning blame mind you, but it seems about as plausible an explanation as any, provided he doesn't have some strange condition that nobody knows about.

As for the people acting all shocked and offended that we'd merely mention or discuss who is behind him in the line-up, grow up folks. Learn your role. We're fans on a message board talking about a team we have an interest in. All the well-wishing in the world isn't going to change a damn thing about what is happening in that hospital. It was implied that we wish Jeno the best in his ailment, but that doesn't mean we can't discuss who is behind him on the depth chart.

Damn! A voice of reason... Glad to see that I'm not alone in this thinking.

I wish him the best and hope its nothing serious. It sounds like it is not serious, in fact given the reports that he just felt a little lightheaded and nauseous but was coherent, I'm surprised (but glad) that he was airlifted and everything.

But, I'm not about to canonize him or talk up his game play just because he's in a position where we feel for him right now...

OK, the fact that all his vitals are normal, and he's expected to be perfectly fine, gives me reason to shout a big

"Thank you Jesus."

Who's with me?

"Shocked and offended" is your description, and quite the exaggeration I might add. If you defend the mindset that asks who's going to replace a person when the subject at hand is the nature and severity of that person's injury, then surely you must see your way clear to a little more tolerance of a viewpoint that asks that we stick to the subject and let talk of a replacement happen another day.

And luckily - for James first and foremost - that the news is somewhat good. If the worst or anything close had happened instead, you might be singing a different tune right now while you backpedaled furiously.

Could be it just seems a bit of a stretch that the heat got to him because the time of the day the practice took place and the fact that the earlier practice was early in the morning.

If anything he simply fell behind on his water intake.
