The Miami Dolphins today signed guard Dan Stevenson off their practice squad and placed guard Jeno James (pictured) on injured reserve with a right knee injury, for which he underwent arthroscopic surgery on November 14. He has been inactive for the last five games with the injury. Also on Tuesday, the team waived cornerback Will Poole off its injured reserve list.
The 24-year-old Stevenson was the second of three sixth-round draft choices by New England this year. He was waived by the Patriots on September 2. He was then signed to the team’s practice squad where he spent the first eight games of the season before being released on November 7. He was subsequently signed to Miami’s practice squad on November 9.
