Didn't see the fight.

Reactions??

very close. just like last time. not a great fight but some good moments.

Yeah, it was an ok fight, it also reminded me of the first one.

Judges had it scored the same way I did. On my card, Taylor had in won by the end of the tenth. After the fight, Jermain gave a ton of respect to BHop and said he was a great, clever fighter. In return, Hopkins says "America saw the fight, they know" as if he won :shakeno:

It was a close, "quiet" fight. By that, I mean there wasn't a whole lot of action. Instead it was a sloppy sort of fight with a lot of holding and clinching. They both seemed to be hesitant to initiate any sort of action.

I scored the first seven rounds alternating between both fighters (Taylor up by one), scored the next three for Hopkins (up by two), and that last two for Taylor. This ended up being a draw on my scorecard. It could've gone either way. All three judges ended up scoring it 115-113 for Taylor.

The REAL fight everyone wants to see is Taylor VS. Wright. THAT would be a kick a$$ fight! Taylor's gonna have to be more active in that sort of fight 'cuz I think Wright matches up well against Taylor and is more of a puncher. As far as Hopkins, he still looks good and wants to fight again. He didn't do too bad for being nearly 41, but it's going to catch up to him soon. He should retire after the next 2-3 fights, I think.

I had Hopkins ahead (again). But nothing to fuss about like the first. Seen enough of these two in the ring together, to get all hot and bothered like in July. Curious, though, that with the fight hanging in the balance again rd.12 (a very, very tight competitive rd) all judges scored for JT.
Still, with exception of a great(even if slightly a backhand) jab, remain unimpressed by Taylor. He should have dominated a BHOP that only can fight about 1o-15 minutes outta 48, but he did not. He won 2 uneventful fights via the pencil.
Note to Taylor: Stay far, far away from Jeff Lacy.
Note to Boxing Fans: Stay far, far away from a JT-Winky fight.

One other thing: Jim Lampley has to go, soon!!!!! His cheerleading tongiht was worse than in the first one. I understand his personal affection for HBO and what DiBella did for him while at HBO, but it's unprofessional and friggin joke.

You're right!

If Marvin Hagler, Thomas Hearns, and Sugar Ray Leonard were dead.....they would be rolling around in their graves...

The most boring uneventful middleweight championship fight of the last 10 years.

Come on....B-Hop landing 114 punches and Taylor Landing 104 in a 12 round fight is a total JOKE.

That less than 10/9 punches a round.

I paid for the first one. Glad I didn't get this one.

Even as a huge Taylor fan, I had Hopkins winning by a couple rounds. But a lot of rounds were very tough to score because of inactivity.

Bernard is still a crafty SOB, but Jermain managed to land some decent punches this time around. But overall, I thought Hopkins controlled the pace and landed the cleaner punches. He deserved the victory IMO.

Even so, I'm more proud of Jermain for this fight than I was the first one. I think he carried himself better, but it's difficult to look good against Hopkins.
