The Patriots salary cap situation Is a mess. Even if they sign Revis to a long term deal and save $10 mil on the cap, they would still only have enough for draft picks. In order for them to sign players like McCourty and Gostkowski, they need and probably will make Mayo a cap casualty.

I know Mayo has had some injuries, but he would be a welcome addition to the mlb position. I would also love Akeem Ayers. Our LB situation would have a lot of depth and competition. Thoughts on the Pats LB'S?

Damaged goods.

Stellar analysis...

With that said...back to back season with injuries..could be a problem, but if you have a contingent plan in place I don't see why you shouldn't give him a shot if he is healthy by the start of the season.

What a concept....stealing some Patriot players like they always do to us......nahhhh we would never do this.

How would he fit into our 4-3 D? Isnt he more of a 3-4 ILB? Same as what Ellerbe was at Baltimore?

He's a better player than Ellerbe or Wheeler were. Depending on his injuries, I might try him out at MLB

I love how personal you are getting with my posts. I did not know I needed to write a novel to have an acceptable post.

FYI. Looking at your history of posts you routinely respond in two declarative sentences per post. Stop making out you are some gold mind of knowledge around here.

Mason foster.....is he any good, surely an upgrade over what we have.....

Totally overrated makes tackles but no real impact plays. Would rather spend the $ elsewhere
