Baker has been a disappointment all year. Shows no aggression, when he drops into coverage he just stands there without reading the qb's eyes. When he misses a tackle he just gives up on the play. I saw a play a few weeks ago when Jalyn Phillips ran a RB down while baker just watched. Sad

Coaches have to do their job and recognize he’s not good in coverage… that doesn’t mean he’s useless though, switch him to OLB and blitz him. I hate the idea of LB’s on tight ends or rb’s. Move Holland or Jones in the box and have them cover

I still can’t figure out who in the organization thought giving him a $12.5M per year extension was a good idea. On a team with a better LB core he would be a rotational guy. The only real strength he has is as a situational blitzer. His coverage skills are lackluster at best and he is a non factor vs the run.

Our LBs suck, overall.

Game after game, I see a LB not in the gap where they are supposed to be.

Just a few plays ago, Wilkins is taking on 2 OL and 52 runs in BEHIND him instead of the gap he is responsible for. This type of play happens all the time.

Our LBs stink.

I think you’re selling him a little short, but certainly not 12.5 million short. That extension made no sense and is just one more tack on a long list of reasons Grier needs to go.
