ESPNews reports free agent Jerry Rice (Seahawks) has signed with the Denver Broncos. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
 
I really hope that Rice will do what Emmitt did in his last year. People will be saying that Rice shouldnt play football anymore, but i hope that he will prove them wronge. Too bad that he is going to have to wait until week 2 to show that.
 
i was thinking of getting a rice shirt cuz it was £30, but it was a raiders shirt, i wouldn't get a donkeys shirt either but i would have got a seahawks 1 (just because my friend is a rams fan)
 
Why would he go to Denver? He should have headed to either the cardinals to give the young boyz some advise or he should went to place like San Diego where he can actual get some playing time.

If your going to get a Rice Jersey is has to be a 49ers one
 
You should hear all the radio stations here in Colorado (KOA 850) and 950 the FAN are all getting overly excited as usual about their Donkeys. Shanny said that Rice is not gauranteed a spot on the team and he will be lucky to be the #4 receiver. Jerry should know when it is time to retire...he is getting like Willy Mays and Muhammad Ali....legends who did not know when to call it quits. :rolleyes:

I agree. He is a class act, and the greatest reciever to have ever played the game. Props to Jerry for keeping his love of the game alive, and staying in shape 365 days a year to be able to even consider playing for year 22... If only the self-centered young blowhards that are playing the game now had such work ethic...
