I have all the 3 jerseys at home but my favorite one is the white one. I know the Dolphins prefer wearing the white at home because of the heat and humidity but I was wondering if there were any other reasons . Unless it's a night game, they don't wear them. After all, the weather is pretty hot in San Diego and Tampa too but most of the time, these teams wear the dark jerseys. For example, last year, Miami had 15 games with the white and 1 with the green but for that one, it was not their choice because TB was at home and chose to wear the white. I know Washington and Dallas are only the 2 other teams to wear mostly the white at home. I don't think our orange or our green can do such a difference according to the weather. Anybody knows why we never see orange or green at home for a day game???

i believe they had two with green and 14 with white due to the Kansas City game was moved to a friday night instead of a sunday afternoon
 
And San Diego is not hot, our weather is pretty temperate all year. Within a small range. When it hits 80 everyone claims it's a heat range, when it hits 65 everybody swears its a blizzard (myself included).
 
Thanks bud for answering. I verified on nfl.com and they wore the white jersey for the game against KC.
 
Well the Home team decides what Jersey they want to wear so its only the Dolphins choice 8 times per year. The Dolphins do play in the Away Uniforms at home cause of the sun. However they did not have many night games like they usaully get. there usually was 2 Monday Night and 2 Sundy nIght and we would wear aqua on the home Night games. I think we are gunna get some night games this year.
 
yea hopefully this year we do play on thanksgiving so they whip out the old school jerseys

They usually don't wear orange or green during the day at home because the white gives them the advantage. White absorbes less heat then the darker jersey so Miami makes the away team wear thier jerseys that are dark in hopes of making there oppisition suffer the hot,humid Miami heat

tampa generally wears their white jerseys at home also, reason i know is, because i was at the miami/tampa game last year, and i was excited because its the only time ive seen the fins wear their aqua jerseys during the day.

Actually, at miamidolphins.com (pro-shop) they list the white jersey as the home jersey, not the aqua.
