Jesse Lumsden as an undrafted free agent

Canadian college may be bad but I think this guy averaged 10 yards a carry. Comes from a football background and also he looked good in the senior bowl. Why not risk a 7th on him.

Canadian football is harder than the NFl....granite the players arnt as good, they have great stamina. they play with 12 on 12, and they only have 3 downs to get a first, instead of 4 downs in america. (i think i'm right on that.)
there field is also longer.

Because of fewer downs the game is much more wide open and pass-oriented. Not to take away from what Lumsden has accomplished, but that may have contributed to his success somewhat. He did look good in the senior bowl though. He's worth a look if he's available real late on Sunday IMO.

definatley.......hey what does IMO mean?

He's real, we should spend a 6th or 7th on him

I've been following him most of the year, since he started making news down here in the states because of the gaudy numbers he was putting up in Canada. He had an awesome season, and unfortunately was not invited to the combine despite the impressive showing he had in the Senior Bowl. It would have been really nice to see him matched up head to head, at least combine-wise, against the best that the U.S. has.

I live in Hamilton thats where his team Mcmaster played i watched him tear up records. Alright big difference between canadian collage football and Americas but this guy should be first day pick im telling you any1 who picks up this guy will not regret it at all.
He did good in the bowl game he impressed scouts when he worked out for seattle, Rams, Colts and another team i think jets not sure though and he smashed records in Canada

I think the problem is that historically players who have had great success here don't fare so well south of the border. The past is likely enough to keep him from being a 1st day pick. Too bad because the talent level seems to be there.

My dad was telling me that despite not getting invited to the combine he had some scouts come up for a private workout and apparently he impressed them. I will try to find the numbers.

One more thing to note of this guy. He took his OL out to dinner. He paid for it by taking out another student loan.

He ran in between a 4.42 and 4.48 on one website i saw (patsfan.com, not too sure the credibilty but it was one of their articles not a poster)

6'2" 228lbs.

This site says the Seahawks attended his private workout and he posted a 4.46 and 4.49.

Ya he had nice numbers i remember hearing it on the news the day it happened because I live in the area and I noticed all the teams looking at him have older runningbacks looking for a replacement soon or just a replacement Ex. Indy and Seattle
