I think the draft we had was great. Obviously we will have to see the results on the field. I was reading a Jets board, and even those guys (who notoriously can't give us any credit) are saying we had the best draft of any AFC east team. It was weird watching a draft without worrying that we would get hoodwinked into a bad deal, or take some stiff in a reach.

I think from around the NFL, Saban and Co. are earning high prasies for what they have done with this team so far since taking over.

As for Saban getting respect, I dont know about that yet. He did well in the draft but many believe he could have done better. I am content with what he has done but I am not blown away.

I would of loved to know what the offers were in trade down scenarios. Was he right or was he wrong, something we will never know.

I love the Brown pickup, Roth sounds like a monster as does Crowder.None of this matters though until they hit the field and play.

The one thing I can say about Saban is he did not get screwed over by another team. That in itself is a welcome change.

It's a shame I don't care about Jet fans regardless of what they say. Oh well, we'll have to see how good our picks are once the pads get on!
