Jets add Barnes

The New York Jets announced today the signing of fullback Darian Barnes to a contract. The announcement was made by Jets’ General Manager Mike Tannenbaum.

If we sign Cory Schlesinger we would be upgreding at the position. Barnes somthing had good blocks, but at times he would be knocked on his ***.I would love for us to sign Cory Schlesinger

Barnes didn't have the most impressive season last year..... But I do trust Cameron, I think he know's what kinda fullback he wants.... I just hope he finds it!

The New York Jets have signed unrestricted free-agent FB Darian Barnes (Dolphins). Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

I'm glad, he sucked big time during the regular season. I still say Beasley would have been better last year. Yeah, I know he was good during the pre-season, but where were those great blocking abilities during the regular season? They were in your mind.
