Had an entire extended family of Jets fans in front of us in line to get into training camp on Sat. Bunch of palookas who come every year. Question...why? Why do the Dolphins let anyone in for Training Camp that is wearing another teams colors? Why was I THE ONLY one anywhere near these guys that was taking issue with it. Why did all the other Dolphins fans seem ok with this? I told them to go home and watch Jets camp. Told them to come to our training camp just to piss in our cheerios. Dolphins staff were taking group photos of them with their camera etc. I don't get it. There is no territorial sense to most fans and to the organization. Just a bunch of happy schmucks that don't care! We are the Dolphins! Anyone else trying to wear another teams jersey into our training camp should be booed and then booted when they get to the gate! I freaking hate 2018. Everyone has some kumbaya mindset of not going against the grain!

If you are going to training camp and anyone near you is wearing something from another team boo them! Tell them to get out! It's bad enough in games how many jerseys are there for the other team but at OUR training camp? Everyone needs to find their balls. If you already have balls and wold have taken issue with these jerks showing up to disrespect us, great. If you are ok with it then go be a fan of another team!

Isn't part if being a fan of your team include sizing up your competition?

I'm a Dolphins fan and I'm going to Carolina Panthers camp this week. It's really not a big deal. I'm also an NFL fan in general, so I'm curious to see how the Panthers look. I think you're making more of it than you should be.
I hear you. But there is a THIS IS OUR HOUSE element I rarely see connected with the Dolphins. Try wearing a Dolphins jersey into Jets camp and see how that goes or a Giants jersey to Eagles camp or a Chargers jersey into Raiders camp and see what the experience is like. From my experiences, we are among the least territorial fanbases. We're pushovers and shouldn't be.

Well take that up with all the snowbirds who live down there.

It comes with the territory, man. I will tell you this; my in-laws and brother-in-law moved to South Florida within the past year. They're Packers and Giants fans, respectively. They moved to South Florida because it's BEAUTIFUL down there most of the time. My wife and I are moving down there in two years.

South Florida is just different. Nobody retires and moves to the Northeast. So those in the Philly, New York and Boston areas are long-term fans. The price you pay for living in paradise is that other people want to live there.

Now...all of this being said...if you want to see a Dolphin fanbase representation, check out what's going on at MetLife Week 2.

I have tons of family down there who can't stand a lot of the New Yorkers who come down. I was born and raised 305, so it's more of a homecoming for me after a few decades away.

That doesn't mean we need to be so accepting of it. Most choose to and I have a problem with that. I'm proud of being a Dolphins fan. There are 31 other teams and they are the enemy and I have no problem making sure they all know it each and ever single time. Our fanbase is accepting and I find their acceptance to be unacceptable.

Meanwhile, show up wearing a Notre Dame or FSU jersey to the Canes practice in the same city.

I have family who literally drive from Syracuse to Florida every season to avoid the winter up here

I didn't sign up to be in a gang so I don't believe in protecting my imaginary territory. I'd just like to watch football and not get into a misguided confrontation over non Dolphin fans being on a Billionaires property, I'm sure he can afford security .

Hey man a friendly rivalry is one thing just don't overdue it and be that guy who ends up going viral on YouTube for being a dumb dick.

I've been to Jets and bills games top to bottom in Dolphins gear and I get the friendly jabs from opposing fans and that's great but ive also seen videos of people literally light the guy sitting in front of Them's jersey on fire mid game
